| Isaac preaching in Africa.
|
Hello Preacher Friends,
I trust that the Grace of God is abounding for you just as it is for us in Kenya.
Sunday June 14th we had 37 people attenday our morning service. It was a cold and rainy day but God honored our fellowship with two people being saved that day!
Yesterday, sunday June 24th we had 44 attending church. Eleven souls were given to Christ. Praise be to the name of Jesus!
We plan to have our first ever Wednesday night prayer Fellowship at the preacher's house. We will talk about what we can do to come up with a shelter where we can meet of Sundays since we are currently experiencing a rainy winter season..
Please do not forget to mention us daily in your prayers. we have many spiritual and material needs. We also promise to keep you in our prayers.
Blessings,
Your Brother in Jesus,
Isaac Kipngetich Lelei

Another email in August
Praise be to God! Yesterday's attendance was 81. Look at all the little jewels! We experienced a great visitation of the Spirit in every aspect of the service. We provided a lunch that consisted of rice, potatoes and beans plus sweet hot tea (with milk in it). we plan to have our first baptismal service on Aug 26 on a pool of water outside my apartment. We had 21 that are ready for baptism by yesterday. I am really thrilled at what the Lord is doing in our midst. It is a wonderful experience to adventure with God.
Thanks for partnering with us in this endeavor!
Your Brother
Isaac Lelei

As you can see, they are meeting outdoors as they have no building to worship in. They are sitting on benches made of rough wood and basically trees they have trimmed to make legs. I don't know about you, but I feel abundantly blessed when I compare the conditions that I am allowed to worship in compared to theirs. These people are just so hungry for the Word. Their worship is their top priority.

| A Baptism with Brother Isaac. |
It has come to our attention that Isaac and his church could really use a tent and some chairs to serve as a temporary "church" while they continue to follow the Lord in building His church in their area. This sounds like a very simple request. However, in Kenya nothing is simple when it comes to serving the Lord. This tent would provide them with shelter during the winter and rainy seasons as well as protection from the sun. When Brother Isaac was approached with the idea of using a tent, he sent the following email:
The house tent and chairs will serve as a sanctuary and shelter from the rains and the sun since we are currently meeting in the open air. When the Lord blesses us with a church building, we will use the tent and chairs to plant our next church in another village where and when the Lord leads us. Our prayer is that the Lord will bless you and all who are in this project in the intention to further the kingdom of God. We love you so much and want you to know that we are very encouraged to have you on board with us.
Your Brother,
Isaac Kipngetich Lelei
Kiambaa, Kenya
We have made it our goal to raise $2,500 in US currency so that Isaac and his church can receive a tent and chairs for a temporary church. We are hoping that we can do this by Sunday, September 30th so that we can get the stuff ordered and Isaac can receive it before the weather starts to turn. I have been in the shoes of asking people to support a mission financially, and it is a very overwhelming task. However, my God has always proven to be faithful in anything that He leads you to do. So, I am not asking for you to write a check or send any donation to anyone. I am asking that you pray for God to show you how He would have for you to share the blessings He has so abundantly blessed you with. It's all about Him!!!
